Scrappy: Grandma

The new challenge is up at All About Me! This one was fun, but tough at the same time. The challenge is to create a layout about your idol. I have so many people that I look up to, but I rarely create about someone who is so near and dear to my heart- my Grandma.

The journaling is hidden behind the picture and reads: She is kind and caring and is always the peace maker of the family. She loves everyone equally and makes the best macaroni and cheese in the world!

Once again, I dug into my stash to play with some of the papers that I hoarded. I love this collection and I like using it more than hoarding it! WHO KNEW?!?!

Scrappy: Home

Tomorrow I leave for a two-week trip to Bolivia. While I'm gone I'm going to miss Mothers Day, my Mamaw's birthday, my brother's graduation, and other beautiful moments. I know that I'm going to make wonderful memories while I'm traveling, but I hate that I'll miss so much time with my family.

Here is a layout about my home with my Mamaw, Papaw, and Miss Kitty. After graduating from college, I moved in with my grandparents. I love them dearly for all that they have done for me and I'm so thankful that I have them in my life!

Check out my Frugal Friday tip that is posted at Scrap Our Stash!

I may be updating from the road, but I can't promise anything. I debated scheduling posts about some layouts I have created, but I decided to just take 2 weeks off.

See you in two weeks!

Cousins

I created this layout tonight for a challenge at The Shaker Box and I absolutely ADORE it.

*EDIT* I won a prize for this layout!!! Yay!!!

I was inspired to create a layout about my amazing cousin Brittany. She is so passionate and I love being her friend and family.
(She kicked my butt running tonight and agreed to help me train for the 5k race I mentioned in my 25 by 25 post.

Everything I used in this layout is from the March kit from The Nook.

I had an amazing, relaxing, perfect weekend. That is all. Here is a layout about my day at Westglow Spa:
